Wallprotex has been chosen to provide the wall protection products needed for the new Temporary Lodging Facility being constructed at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota.

The Minot Air force Base's new 46,900 square-foot facility will feature 30 furnished 2-bedroom units available to members of the Air Force and their families who move in and out of Minot on a regular basis.  The new facility will replace the current, aging facility which is almost 60 years old.  Below is a rendering of the project as completed, provided by Leo A. Daly, the designer of the project.

Wallprotex is proud to have been selected to manufacture and provide all of the corner guards, wall guards, and other wall protection accessories needed to preserve and protect the interior surfaces of the new facility.  David Boland, Inc., chosen as the general contractor for the project, will be installing Wallprotex WX4 Corner Guards and Wallprotex WX6 Wall Guard into the new facility to help keep the interior finishes of the building in like-new condition for many years to come.  The new Temporary Lodging Facility is scheduled for completion in August of 2016, and also is registered with the USGBC's LEED program with the goal of achieving LEED Silver Certification.
